I have good reason to believe that Topcash is shaving the hell out of my click-through account.

Does anyone have any experience with these guys?

I've been tracking my logs and the number of unique clicks going through to them, and the stats they have aren't anywhere near the numbers I have.

This seems to have gotten worse over the last two weeks or so. And I recently hooked up with a new link that has sent me thousands of new unique visitors per day, many of which have been clicking on my TC banners.

Any comments are welcomed.

Thanks

TOPCASH is good sponsor because it pay on-time every time.
What about shaving? Well, everybody do it. I work for topcash during 6 month with click programm. I think yes, thay do shaving. They don't count all signups generated by you. What about clicks? I'm not sure because they use CTC for this.

LOCK STOCK said a very true thing.

ALL click companies shave, whether it's unconscious or not. Just deal with it. If they pay you, then be happy. If you don't like what they pay you, move to another sponsor and see if they shave less http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Well, they do pay. And that's cool. But, the difference we're talking about here is a couple hundred dollars. That's a pretty big chunk considering we all have to pay for bandwidth and all.

TOPCASH are liar.

It's written on their website:
"Don't like worrying about conversion rates and traffic quality? Get paid 4 cents per Blind click flat regardless of your signup ratio."

Well, they have switched my account to "per signup" because my signup ratio was low.

$%&%?*&**(&*..

They are great! And worked great for me until they had switched my to pay per sign-up program :o(
They always paid me on time :)

They came out with that new policy of a minimum of 50 clicks per day or they change you back to the pay per signup thing. Since that day, I've only showed more than 50 once. Even though my logs show hundreds of clicks per day.

I think they're shaving majorly in an attempt to drop people from the click through and put them on the sign up plans.

i don't know that they're shaving. consider this: they are possibly THE most used tgp sponsor on the web. you only get paid if someone clicks a second link, but a guy who's ended up there 15 times off galleries in 2 days isn't likely to click into the site.

remember, with topcash, unlike a lot of other sponsors, the surfers don't see an entrance link - they see the site. so they know if they've been there recently, and they know if they weren't interested.

Well, I use it from 2 sites. One of the sites isn't a full-blown adult site, per se. However there is some adult content there, enough that I have to use adult banners for sponsors. This site gets the most traffic and sends the most over to TC. This site doesn't bring in hardly any porn or TGP traffic, yet still gets a lot of clicks for those "porn curious" people. I get hardly zero recycled porn traffic. These are all reasons I think they're shaving. I'm just tossing around thoughts and seeing if anyone else has experienced the same thing.

On another note, I just sent over another 60 clicks, according to my side, while I was taking a nap and I see only an additional 6 clicks on their side.

Shrug, maybe they aren't clicking the 2nd link, but I doubt that many are clicking the banner and then not clicking anything else at all once they get there.

Uniques are according to the entire program.

I believe, although could be mistaken, that if another webmaster sends a surfer to iteens and gets counted as a click, if that surfer is sent again to iteens within 72 hours, it will not count.

i had some other clickthru proggy links - getting like 6 or 7000 clicks a day

i changed the links to topcash, and they dropped to 1500 - 2000

its not shaving - they just have a 72 hour unique count and a second page click that makes sure only the most highly qualified traffic gets thru

this also goes for the per signup proggy - people going "yippee im gettting 1:500" wake up and realise its probably close to 1:1500-2000 - but hey at the end of the day topcash pay, and even with all this big time shaving, at the end of the day you might find you make more with them than any other sponsor.

the proof is in the size of the cheque

I would switch anyone using my click thru if they used it on a CJ site

I use Topcash per signup prog, and I got a signup before I even started sending traffic. So, at one point my ratio was 1:0. Apparently the shaving algorhythm they use shaves signups but also randmoly adds in signups. That is why they have the 1 signup every two weeks minimum. I'm thinking of ditching them, but ultimately it's the how you much you make per blind click or per banner impression.
