Why do i see so many sites that dont have that much traffic makeing a fake toplist?I just saw one where all the reffers hits ended with a 5,lol at least make it look real

it would be much better to just take the hits off of your refferer list so other webmasters dont think your trying to fool them,your not going to fool a good webmaster with a fake toplist

Fake numbers seems to me its just to fool webmasters in forcing traffic... doesnt do anything for surfer... I wouldnt bother trading with such a webmaster... theres so many out there to trade with anyways ;)

i think they are intended to fool the surfer, not the other webmasters trading with it. that is why you pay hundreds of dollars for a script so you know who is sending you what. but fake toplists are intended to fool surfers the way the old cj designs of fake image directories did. atleast that's how i see it.
