Fast encodeing MPEG1-MPEG2 softwrae?

Any body know any a good and *Fast* encoding MPEG1-MPEG2 softwar to able handel VOB file ?

Beside (Flix mpeg )!

Without flaskmpeg, quality will be shit!
I'm using flaskmpeg + VFAPI + Tsunami Mpeg encoder (Slowest but best quality)

I never ever to able VFAPI + Tsunami Mpeg encoder work for me ,
Always when want to load my file and open it in to VFAPI I get Erro Message.?Any Idea?
No Idea what I'm doing wrong?

I have dell Dimension 8200 2GHz Pentium 4
With 100 GB Ultra ATA (7200RPM) Hard Drive with 512MB RDRAM .
Do you think still I need faster machine?

Indeed not.... From what I have found so far is Flask to be the best around, despite its slow ass time it takes to make a avi file.
I do a ton of DVD rips for AdultLegal and have several machines on a lan with machine much like yours. What is it you are trying to achieve? Content for the web or archiving a DVD for personal viewing? If you are saving the avi with huge video bitrates and 640x480 or better it may take a bit longer to encode.

I'm using
DVD2AVI - Process the VOB files
TMPGEnc - Deinterlace, crop, resize, color correction, etc.
VFAPI
Cinema Craft SP

Cinema Craft is currently the fastest MPEG encoder out there and it provides superior quality compared to Xing. Especially P4 users will get a boost since they support SSE2.

With the above method, it'll be faster than FlasK and better result. FlasK strengt is it's easiness where you can do almost all the above in one program. I also started with FlasK in the beginning, but now I don't use it anymore.
