How big should be TGP page ? 50kb, 80kb, 30kb ? I want add some banners graphic etc. so I don’t know how much I can. I know if my page loads for 5 minutes no one want see it. So how big are yours TGP pages?

Mine are about 50k-60k. the quicker the better, in my opinion. surfers see so many tgps nowadays. they just want easy to find porn quickly.

Remember to use small tables instead of a big one on your code...


With a single table the visitors with a 56k connection probably will have to wait a lot to start viewing the links...

The smaller the better..

Mine is about 50kb thats too big.

it's hard to do below 50kb :(
I will be happy if my new design will be below 70kb. I'm working on it from 10 hours :(

380kb here...
277kb for html only.

but it loads one table by one,so right if you access it,you get something;-)

i use url's and descriptions,skimming....so it's hard to get it down.
[and 1400 links at the mainpage...poor me...]

That's alot of links on the mainpage. how many days worth of galleries is that? a week? i hope its not one day's otherwise you must have a hell of a time reviewing galleries.

for those of you who have small pages, how often to you update them? multiple times a day, or..? do you have a script that updates/cuts down sizes for you?

If your pages are going to be huge, you definitely need to install mod_gzip. You can cut a 300K file into 40K. mod_hs is also in development right now. It's still in beta, but it looks pretty slick. http://www.ehyperspace.com/solutions/hyperspace_modhs.html

20 categories,some contain 4 weeks,some an half day (amateur).
i post 250/day,reviewtime is 1 min/day...thats where software and good scripts come into the game;-)
