Has anyone here ever worked out any deals to get lower priced domain names than the registrar advertises? What does it take to get some serious savings? I own about 100 domains, this does not seem to be enough to break a deal.

I thought I was the only one here that used onlinenic

$7 is average - so under that starts to get low, if you can get under $6.50 you're doing well.

the cheapest I have used is directi. $75 deposit for reseller account, $6.99 (no commit), $6.49 from 500 domain years (5years x 100 domains)

registerfly (among others) has regular specials for members for about $6.99 for RENEWALS & TRANSFERS, and $8 for new registrations.

considering $6 to be paid to the Registry, you cannot go much lower.

My internal limit is $15 with good registrar like directnic, anything below is cheap, anything above I consider expensive.

I used directNIC and really like them. I would reccomend, however the $15 is not "low".

My experience, like was said before, anything below $7 for a new registration is an outstanding price.
