need help getting my ucj script up & running

Hey,

I have a TGP that gets around 1000-2000 visitors per day. I recently had the ucj (10 posts a day) installed. I'm still trying to get 10 trades to start it up. I was thinking of making a top 10 list to send traffic. My TGP uses AGP and i don't really know how to start trading.

I will give it a go since I started another site yesterday and it should hit 20000 today, and I have used the following strategy on my 4 other sites. I do not use ucj, but the basics should work for any good script. I currently use TM3.

1. setup your page with the proper outscript link for ucj integrated with your agp html output. I assume you have this already setup.

2. Find at least 10 trades in the same niche that your site is, example=teens, and add them to your script. Only add yourself to there script once you are sure that everything you setup in #1 is working properly. Set all the trades at the same % out and add 10 hits an hour for all trades.

3. Add yourself to your trades scripts and then make your new page with the ucj outscript links live. Now you should be sending traffic to galleries and to trades. Don't add new trades for at least 24 hours. See how far you can go with the min trades you have and the current traffic you are sending to them.

4. After 24 hours your traffic should be stable. Now you may have to make adjustments to the gallery skimming % if you are not sending out enough. You also will want to drop the force on the bad trades that you have now, trades with bad prod or are not sending enough back. Find 2 or 3 new trades and force some traffic to them and wait 12 to 24 hours. Drop 1 or 2 trades that are not doing well.

5. Continue with #4, trading is an on going process. What may be a good trade today may end up be a bad trade tomorrow.

These are the basics that I have used myself, my biggest site is at 90000-100000 uniques daily for the past 8 months. Not every site is the same, just because you can get 1 site to 100000 does not mean you can do it to other sites. There are other variables involved.

I believe you should be able to reach 20-30000 quickly with 1-2000 in base traffic and with good trades.

That was alot of writing for someone who hates writing:D , but I hope it helps.

Hi,
If you go to the agp members area there should be directions for integrating the ucj outlink into the agp script. Also do a search on ucj and agp here at awi, i remember this being a topic in the past. Don't sweat over making a toplist anyway, it is not a requirment to trade.

Maybe some ucj/agp guy can help here with the outlink.

my pleasure Freezr. #4 is key, I think some guys expect to get trades and the script works miracles, not so, it takes work. Like I said there are other variables involved in trading traffic such as design, domain name, content, friends .... ... Buying traffic will accelerate the process with #4 and growth, but I think it will be less stable.

addition to #4. You should also be able to drop the force for all trades and the script will work on it's own.
