Hmm I just looked it over again, and it doesn't appear to be the case. That's the way it used to be setup, but now the site makes no mention of the 50% commision split.

Getting 2 bucks for a cc join without the 50% commision split if they upgrade is a rip off.

$2 per cc signup is very unimpression. Hell if they did 2 bucks a free signup plus a 50% comission split, it would be a good deal.

Unless you consider deductions shaving. I don't. I consider them more like chargebacks.

Hmm. Everyone seems like an expert with our new program.

However, when I look at my webmaster stats, I find that none of you have even tried the new program.

We offer 5 different programs. We have a dialer program (.75 per minute), a standard signup program ($38 per trial), an impression program (4 cents per 100 imps), a Free signup program ($2 per signup), and a referral program.

We've made a lot of upgrades to all of our programs since management changed early this year. The programs work for 1000's of webmasters.

You can not make an educated comment until you've tried it. This is the case with anything in life.

I decided to go check some stats from a few webmasters. One webmaster is promoting the program in the following way.

That is a 1/40 conversion. Not bad for a program which requires a Credit Card, but doesn't bill it.

FreeNetPass is very similar to our AVS MassivePass.com. The only difference is that we pay the webmaster recurring on the free AVS membership.

Both of these systems bill the customer for a membership to a site in return for free access to the AVS.

The MoneyTree Free program never bills the customer. They are given access to a free members area. Very similar system to J4F. The difference is that the users are more qualified because we know they have a credit card. Therefore, we are able to convert around 1/18 of these users to a paid membership. 18 X $2 = $36. So we end up paying $36 per trial signup currently. If we can increase these ratios then we will pay more.

I would assume that J4F is only able to convert around 1/30 to 1/40. Therefore, they have lower payouts per signup.

Our free signup rate has been shown to be very competitive with free email programs.
