I guess it's a virus, got send this a few times and just blocked it.

i get this several times every day,it's a older virus.
you can't do much,just delete it every time.

What planet you lived on? It been around for months now. Bah i hate that virus. I had a nasty one 2 weeks ago, about 200 a hour from 1 person.

Just block all e-mails with "I send you this file in order to have your advice" in their message body. If you use Outlook Express this is easy to do with mail rules.
yeah but if you do that you will still have to download them from the server which takes a lot of time. i suggest you configure your mail server to reject any emails which have an attachment and are larger than 150kb in size. this will solve the problem for good.
this worked for me - i used to get around 2,000 of these emails per day a couple of months back :eek:

I've been getting that virus e-mail for months now.
Yep - it is a virus .. i think Sircam is it's name
I had 2 remove it from about 30 Pc-s till now .. :(

Not if you set the mail rule to "Don't download from server" and "Delete from server". :)

i've stopped opening any emails with attachments
once someone gets this virus it automatically uses every email address that is on that persons computer
so you might even be getting an email and attachment from someone you know that contains the virus
when it started, i was getting about 3 to 6 hundred a day, now i'm only getting about 50 a day
unknown, i tried that but for some reason it didn't work. i can delete messages from the server by subject and sender but not by body, attachment or size. i tried it with various email clients...must be my email server or something :confused:

that fucken virus costed me over $200 in extra bandwidth last month, I had to turn off my email forwarding and pop account on all my sites.

That thing fucked up my mail server! i cant get any more e-mails..on my domains.
I get 20 or so of these daily..
