Beta testing, please help

I've just about finished programming a blackjack game and need a site with lots of traffic to beta test it so I can get the last few bugs out of it. I've got my own server, all I need is lots of people to play it and report any and all bugs to me so that I can fix them.

What do you get?
I'll place your money making banner at the top of all pages in the game.

It will be setup like the one at
http://www.gameshost.co.uk/stockings
but with your name at the top and your banners

I only need it run for a day or so just to sort at the last few bugs in it. It will not cost you anything, not even bandwidth but you could make some extra money with the extra banner views.

Let me know if your interested as soon as possiable and I'll get it setup for you straight away.

Thanks man, I've got 2208 lines of code and it took me 3 months to program so I think there's a good chance of a few bugs and I don't want it to be like Microsoft software :)

I thought I'd try to get a porn site to list it cus of the amount of traffic they get and it would get more people to test it. Last time it was tested by a porn site it crashed the server from the load so I brought a new server :)

I played for awhile and everything seems fine to me. And just like in real BJ I lost all my money :rolleyes:

Yep, once I know it's ok. All updates after will be free too but I like to at least try to get all the bugs out of it first.

I've used the same rules that the dealer at casino's have to follow. I played blackjack when I was on a cruise in the on board casino and came away with £5 profit, but then again, I hadn't done anything but look at rules for the 3 months before:rolleyes:

Good to hear. How far are you planning to go w/ this. Updates for free are onyl good if the person doesnt give up.

Last time I got a porn site to link to the game to test it the traffic amount crashed the server so I brought a new one for $2000 so you could say I'm in it for the long term. Updates with be released to fix bugs and add new features if I think of any or get a lot of requests for a feature.

I've been working on this script for about 3 months, but I've been programming in perl for about 2 years.

I don't program for a living, I do it because I enjoy it so it's not like once I make lots of money off it I will forget about it and not update it if something needs doing. I just like to beable to say "I made that" but the price will help pay for the server I hope.

I do not want to chriticise your game, as i know hom much work it involves making a game, but why don't you try to make something you can actualy sell?

I think 3 months is way too much time to spend on making a game like that one. Also if you want to sell it you should make some design to the game.

By the way, what program was the game coded in?

It's programmed in perl. I've add more stuff to it later and improve the design a bit but I just wanted to make sure it worked ok first.

By the way. If you have only 75 coins and bet 100 and loose, the game will show -25 coins. That's not right.

You need to prevent this from happening.
Or does the bank credit the player?:)

Most players will not care about - or + they just want to look at the pictures, if you made them signup again you would lose most of your players so it's but to go minus and keep the players. When they think there good enough with a bit of luck they would click on a gambling banner and make you some money, after all, the only sites that make any money on the net anymore are porn and gambling sites:)
