Drop in traffic ?

Hi,

Have some of you also noticed a BIG drop of traffic on your site(s)?

Just to mention, i lost the hits over a period of 2-3 days .. It sounds very strage to me that a site can drop so much, so fast.

I acually raized from 15 k to 25 uniques, but did notice my stats are a lot weirder....

I was going to add this on Monday! I went from 22k on Sunday to 12k on Monday. That is just fucked up.. Not sure what the seal is. It sucks is all I can say.

I thought maybe I was the only one. Guess not.. thank God.

I have noticed about 7 different sites that must be getting hit by a hitbot.

I have stats like 500 raw 25 unique with 1% productivity on the trade http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/frown.gif

It sure sucks.

My site was hitted 3 times last month by a hitbot. It did not affect the trades though.

I was speaking with a friend today about cheat bots.

His programmer wrote a script that uses java script to prevent cheating with bots.

How he explained it to me was, you sign up at the topsite for example. You are given a java code that you use as your URL in your HTML. That java script grabs the actual code from the topsite script on your server. So when some one clicks on the link, they will be taken to the topsite.

It then will count votes without a gateway, The code is also different for every vote. So even if they did get ahold of the URL to vote for their account. It would be different every time. Also, if they did attempt to cheat the script would recognize this and ban the site from the list.

I didn't explain it very well, but i think you get my point. All i have to say is it has been tested, over and over. And seems to be cheater resistant. http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Trades with UCJ powered sites are very unprodictive in few last days.
Does anybody know why?
