How does free site traffic convert for you guys?

I say about $.00-$500000 a day :)

Theres so many factors to consider if somone made $10k a month with 5k hits some other might not make that with 50,000,000

if you wanna work the free sites game then its all about quantities and a whole lotta of patience,,,

most sign ups come from sites you made a very long time ago

Mostly from http://www.thelinksmachine.com/ and as you submit to link sites, some of them will have other links to other link sites, etc.

Then I must be one of those lucky 1,000's of webmasters that can still convert from free traffic such as link lists, search engines, top lists and my god even tgp1 and tgp2.

I aggree 100% with you, but to have a constant flow of traffic(i.e. $$$) you also need to uplink a few of your free sites to a hub site or it may die down to less than 200 hits per day per free site after 6 months.

You make more money per hit with a ''webmaster friendly'' free site because you have in it a full page add (FPA), one enter or exit console, more sponsor links per page and smaller/less thumbs. But very few link lists will accept them.

a ''surfer friendly'' free site will get you more visit as most link list will gladly accept it. It has no FPA, no console, two-three sponsors links per page, more/bigger thumbs, etc.

A hub site is just a link to your other free sites and sponsors. Somewhere in your free site, you can place a text link to your hub site for those surfers that want something different (another niche) from what your have on the free site they just visited. Here's an example of an hub page I have on a free host http://www3.bestsexhost.net/central/

Do you know any urls to submit to many search engines at a time and do they work at all?

I used to use selfpromotion.com back in the days for serch engine auto-submission, but now I have a $200 software for search engine auto-submission. The result is not that great with my software. Frankly, I prefer hand submission to each major search engine. I let the software submit to the smaller SE.
