I think so!
Even tho it's common knowledge that SE traffic is worth much more than just about any other kind of traffic, I'd like to give an example here.
I just looked in my stats, to see what this traffic was actually doing on one of my sites. (tgp)
And guess what? The last couple of days google sent a nice 80 unique hits, and those hits were good for a productivity of 3950%!
I shit you not. My trading script recorded 3160 clicks :eek:
So I checked my access log files, and well, all the ips were completely different... so it wasn't just one horny surfer.
For me, this is reason enough to heavily optimise my sites for SEs, since this really amazed me.
Anyway, how is Google helping your site out? Am I just really lucky, or is google a bigger goldmine than many think?

Aheib I don't know where you're getting your "common knowledge" information but it's pretty well known that SE traffic is the BEST traffic. If you have it - it is gold.

yup Toxi, the best, worth more than anything else, that's what I said.. But I was thinking of a productivity rate like 850% , not 3000+

I agree it is the best. But hard, really hard to find it in big quantities.

It's a rather normal thing (atleast among ol'timers) to make sure your site gets listed with minimum google and DMOZ.

Thats is good to hear. SE traffic is damn good! Now the trick is to get lower in the listings. :)

Everyone should go to DMOZ and list their sites. It's free and many other search engines look to DMOZ for their listings.

1.000 Google hits equals 30k TGP hits my experience, in other words it converts 30x better on average for me.
