Hello everyone,
I hear, some people have problems with cjpro (lost datas etc.)

I made 2 addon for cjpro
1. domain.com addon : Your partners giving link to yourdomain.com, not yourdomain.com/cjproin.cgi?username
2. Auto Backup & Restore addon: This addon makes backup files in every update and looks, if any file deleted, then restores from last backup.

if you want this version of CJPRO, just ICQ me.

Oh I forgot to say
you don't need any changes for domain.com addon
I made a convert.cgi, that'll add your existing partners to sitename.dat file
and everything will work for existing members

Coder Guy - under a standard copyright on a script, distribution of the script is forbidden.

In my opinion, i would contact Banzai and talk to him.

More than likely he will welcome your work, perhaps incorperating it as standard, or linking to your work.

If you have altered any of the files, ie hacked the code a bit, depending on the license that you will have accepted by downloading the script, modifying it is illegal.

Changing it and distributing it is illegal also.

Unless you have PERMISSION.

Its ironic that your hard work could in the end be a bad/illegal thing, but really you should check with Banzai.

But back to reality, Banzai should not be too bitchy.

If you have coded these features that he has not had time for, then ask him to include them.

If he doesn't, write your own script with your features.

I'd say its important to talk to Banzai though, i know if it was my script and people were fucking with it, i'd be a little pissed off.

I haven't hacked any code.
I just added new codes
I haven't changed copyright notice etc. too

everyone hates from deleted account problem in CJPRO script, I just solved this problem. and added cool domain.com feature

if this is illegal, I'll continue distrubuting. Because I won't believe this is illegal.
but if I change copyright notices, design in script, name of script etc! that would be illegal I agree

nothing personal, but as i thought you might have appreciated, programmers care alot about their work.

Its not money, its personal pride.

You have taken his script, hacked his code (by definition if you have added yours), and are now giving people copies of the modified script, all without permission.

If banzi was me, and i was him. I'd welcome the help. As long as my © info wasn't removed. And coder guy wasn't making any duckets from it.

yes I haven't to ask author.
I can change script's name, design, filenames etc and distrubute it , if I want.
But I leaved script original and just added somethings.

I'm not selling this script, I'm not using this script for advertising etc.

Just I wanted share my good features with everyone. Whats wrong ?

Hello,
That not same script.
I converted CJPRO's code to PHP code and added cool features
it has used MySQL database etc.

I mean with convert, I'll used CJPRO's math ideas (recalculate)

but I have several errors with this script, and I have not time for fixing it. so I discontinued.

I'm not selling this addons for money!

On second thoughts scrap that idea to write in PERL or PHP better write your code in C. So atleast it makes it a bitch for people to make addons for your script CODER GUY.

Heck if you write it in C you can sell it for double that would be 300. oops I mean 500.

I don't know C language. Its very low-level language and learning C will take a lot of time from me. I don't have enough time for it.

and I don't think I need C.
Php is really fast, and mod_perl too. Php works as apache module. That means a part of apache, so speed is very very high.
maybe not as compiled C script, but speed is very near!

I know now C coders will say "F.ck off" to me. But thats true.
Mod_PHP works 5-7x faster than old CGI Php (/usr/local/php etc.)
