Tracing Requests on my Modem

Hi,

Does anyone know how about I can track the requests that is going through my modem while I am connected. I am using some software that is making my modem lights go crazy and I'd like to see what this software is requesting, from whom, and what its receiving.

Grab zone alarm and when somthing wants out of your computer zone alarm will ask you if you want it to use the connection... good for seeing what is going out of the computer..
