Man, taxes are fucking me over for last year =(, How much does everyone pay in taxes each year. How much does the IRS tax adult income (specifically dialer income if it matters)? I mean what is the average percentage that you have to pay back? Any help is appreciated!!!

Everybody pays federal tax, and most everybody also pays state tax. I don't know all of the states that don't collect an annual tax, but I know that Florida and Texas are two that don't.

You should figure to pay about 35 - 40% in taxes, that includes state and federal. So, if you get a check for $10,000 from VIP Dialer or wherever, you're really only making about $6000.

I dont see how it is so easy. I mean, if the person who pays you claims the money on their own taxes (for deductions of coarse) then wouldent you have to claim your income from them to the IRS. Expecially if the person that pays you has your social security number and sends you a 1099 form =)
Damn, taxes suck!

Shit man I dont wanna hear a damn thing about taxes, paying my taxes has almost made me break down into a mental case. I bought a house, and spent way too much money on a car this year. I have been worrying my ass off the last few months since I got behind on taxes, because the damn bank made me put fucking 25% down on my house since I didnt have 2 full years of self employed income. But I can rejoice, once I get my dial hardcore check for December in a couple days I will be able to pay my federal and state.

Ah yes the time when uncle sam bitch slaps the country cause he wants his cut.

I know I've put some IRS agents kids through better colleges than I went to. But, living in Florida I do get somewhat of a warm feeling when I can skip the whole state tax thing.

Here's a tip establish yourself as a Subchapter S Coporation, have all checks written to the the Corp and pay yourself a preset salary (it can be a very low one because after all it IS your company), now in many states the sub s corporate status has a VERY low tax rate until you hit a certain dollar amount (usually in the neighborhood of 50k)

That low salary you pay yourself wont cost you much either, and at this point an abundance of things you purchase using your business can be deductable.

Best advice is to talk to an accountant or tax attorney, mine is a former IRS auditor whose holding a grudge so it works out well.
