There are some TGP's that dont allow freehost submissions, but my question is, how would they know if its a freehost if its bannerless, and has its own domain. I ask this because I have a free hosting with a domain with my sponser and I was going to use that for TGP submissions. How would they know if its a freehost or not, or does that not matter?

Thanks

oh, and to answer your question, they won't know unless there are banners or something, what free host lets you use your own domains though?

If it's the sponsor free host it's ok.
But it's one of those bastards bannerless that redirect traffic you might be blacklisted.

And nic any good freehost will let you use your domain.

Correction, They *WILL* Know, even though you are using your own domain, that domain still maps to the freehost IP.

So They will know.

However, they won't know unless the freehost is banned.

So until someone else on the freehost does something bad, you are fine.

Example: Domain A is you, you are abiding by the rules and doing nothing wrong. Domain B however is generally nasty, spamming changing the galleries and so on. You are both on the same free host, Domain B gets banned, the TGP script does an IP lookup, to ensure the ban. Since you are on the same freehost as Domain B, you also get banned due to the IP lookup.

Some scripts can ban the nameservers of free hosts ... so if your domain is hosted on them it also blacklisted.
But not all TGP's have such script yet ...

If you use a bannerless free host from your sponsor i doubt TGP's have it blacklisted ... but if you're a bit naive and go with the bannerless free hosts that redirect and steal your traffic you ask to get blacklisted :)

But if a TGP doesn't allow for example smutserver, and you host your domain on smutserver trying to get through, you probably get blacklisted.

Unless you are talking about a bannerless free host, they will know because they will see the "hosted by blahblah free host" at the bottom of your gallery. If it's bannerless like zfreehost then it's already blacklisted. There are bannerless freehosts like revsharehosting that are not blacklisted at most tgps.

I think what it comes down to is the fact that there is no such thing as a "free" host. You have to pay in some way. If the way that you pay is not bad for the tgp they will list you, if it is bad they won't.

Bad ways are hosts that divert traffic with extra banners false 404s etc.

Good ways are Revshare because you pay by letting them claim a small percentage of your earnings. Sponsor hosting is also good because it is effectively paid hosting by the sponsor, and you are working as a commission agent on their behalf.
