It's bad, evil, wrong, but that doesnt mean the guy isnt intelligent. Seems like hes a lot smarter than the cops so far.. Hope they get him soon.

They still have no idea who "he" is - and yes he sure as hell is very intelligent. He's obviously not driven as many serial killers are by some sexual need. I'm thinking it's a terrorist act - either from a domestic group or abroad.

And wasn't there some blast in Finland yesterday in a shopping mall? I saw pictures of the women and children. I'm so sad for them.

I just heard about all of this yesterday from a friend who lives no more than 30 minutes away from where one of the shootings was.

If it is a serial killer based on impulse, I dont believe intelligence in neccessarily what is keeping control of any impulses. I dont think there has been any sign of true intelligence yet... the idea of all of this is not genious. It could occur to anyone.... just takes a dimented ape to love the idea and carry it out.

What are they calling this guy now? the 'serial sniper'?
Was watching the news yesterday eating my tortilla chips and home-made chicken fajitas (yes I cook), and the criminal profiler talking on the news was just great...after stating that this guy craved the publicity from the public after these things happen, and therefor does not need to stick around off impulse like most serials, she simply verbally bashed the guy on air.... makes you think if the profiling was correct, this lady might have killed his dreams right there.

Most serial killers are not caught.... I would like to think this is different, as the aspect of no 1 , 3 or 5 year delay in between murders and instead only a day or perhaps less is not comforting, I would think that kind of impulse would mean he will be caught. Hopefully soon....

Now, on the case that this is a shear act of terrorism... that would mean of coarse every press release and profiler was wrong. hrm.. im tired, sorry for the tangent or confusion....

They don't. That was just bullshit.
cnn.com has info, nowhere is adult webmaster mentioned.
If they did think he was an adult webmaster, it would be all over the place for the pure fact that a story like that would sell.

shooting long distance is very hard. i'm sure that will give them a lead.

I'm beginning to think that this is either a terrorist (domestic or international) or even a government worker - either sanctioned or not. Last week the shooter stopped for the weekend. Let's see what happens this weekend. I think that if he can wait the weekend that again shows a lot of control over his ability to kill. That would lead one to think that he/she is a professional killer of some kind. My Dad lives in that neighborhood, I know several of the shopping centers where the earlier shootings happened. It's scary to think that someone is just picking people off and the inablility of the police to put a stop to it. After 9/11 and billions of dollars in homeland defense why the hell can't we stop one very intelligent psycho with a gun?

Here's the story from MSNBC

Either control, or a simple compulsive pattern....

I live in the DC area and here are my thoughts

Something is managing his time for him.

He shoots during extended business hours 8am-9pm
Takes a break on the weekend

I think he is using a delivery truck from his place of employement

My 2 cents
