Hey guys,

Before you answer, please keep in mind I'm someone who has never traded traffic on freesites before :D Can someone please explain to me the real difference between a toplist script and something like UCJ? Is it mainly being able to trade based on productivity?

Toplist scripts record hits in/hits out. That's it. They then list the sites according to their hits in. There is no guarantee that partners will recieve what they sent.

Traffic trade scripts are much more powerful as they often include toplist features, let you skim links, let you trade on productivity/etc. and let you pay traffic back according to what they sent.

ucj allows you to send back traffic to all your trades based on productivity... If someone sends me 1000 surfers my site
Diabolical Sex (http://www.diabolicalsex.com)
sends back that many surfers plus how many times they clicked on my galleries... We use every 5 links is a group trade.
we skim our site at 75% of the time it goes to the galleries...

Trading scripts like UCJ are managing your blind links traffic. The surfer does not know where the link is leading to, only the script does.
With a traditional toplist script, the links are leading to the site "as written" in the toplist. The script manages only the ranking (and maybe the font-size and banners) of a link.
