Well, as some of you know, I'll try the CJ experience and I'm making a site I consider very appealing. Now, I thought about promoting a dialer and of course an exit page. Then I do the maths and I find that I get full $4 per 1000 uniques in most cases. Now my question is: isn't it better to send it to any given sponsor? You can send your sponsor 35,000 uniques a day (if you have, of course, I'm just trying to make a point) and if you have 1:35000 conversions you made the same money! I'm sure there must be something else because I don't consider myself a genius, so where's the catch? As usual, any help appreciated

Peace

you don't make your biggest money off the exits - you make money off the slackers that didn't click anything useful off the exits.

you also make money from regular sponsor programs with a cj (dialers, blind links, partnerprograms - NOT regular click as your ratio will often SUCK), and then for the guys that didn't go where you wanted them, you can still pick up this extra tenths of a cent.

Thanx basschick, you're a very helpful person, I knew it has to be something else with CJ

Good advice basschick!

Harvey: Regarding exit consoles.. if you're new at this, you should perhaps go with an exit broker. But that should be a last resort later on. You make the best money by selling directly to sponsors through the exit instead of giving away valuable space to exit brokers, who in their turn sell directly to sponsors. Cut off the middleman and you'll surely make more money (which of course depends on how good you are at working the traffic. But it isn't *that* hard to learn. Test, try and test again and you'll find your own way.)

As someone else said earlier on the board (damn can't remember who. Shap perhaps? Snoops?), you can also expand easily if you control your exit consoles. For example, you have 10k+ uniques/day (not that much, admittedly, but always a start) to your site, then you design a new site, perhaps even a content/bookmarking site and advertise/open that site in your exit console. With time, those 10k uniques could double or even triple, since you receive continous fresh traffic from your trades (assuming that you have any.)

That's the good thing with CJ'ing. You're almost always dealing with pretty fresh traffic (fresh in terms that it's the first time they might visit your site). That can easily be turned to your advantage if you know how to polish the boot.

A problem with all that is, however, that you might get too many sites to handle. So a good thing that comes out of starting, for example, some kind of content site (TGP or just a free site), is that you won't really need any additional trades except your own exit traffic from your other site(s). So if you know the walk and can talk the talk (okay that sounds cheesy heh), you could with one fairly sized CJ, in time, build up 5-10 "free" sites and get huge amounts of bookmarkers.

And before you ask or point out.. NO, bookmark traffic is NOT worthless. It's excellent, you just have to know how to work it, like anything else! And I'm sure you'll learn how eventually if you study hard.

Ewww I think I just had a caffeine overdose http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Wow, thanx Jonathan! About bookmarks, I think they're fucking great, I have several sites, all with boomarks, just trying the "CJ experience" which I'm totally new. As a matter of fact, I'll try the Banzai script and if I like the expereince I'll move to CJPro paid version or another one. That's why I was asking. At the moment I'm writing this I've finished the beta of my CJ site at http://www.getteen.com (if you visit it, don't click anything I guess all will be directed to Banzai!)

Thanx again

Harvey
