I dont understand?? Sure you can find lists with more than 20k "proxies", but 75% doesnt work.
Why dont we all agree on checking all proxies in the list before posting it?

Mainly because I don't have the time or motivation to scan 200,000 proxies, not to mention it would cause me ISP troubles. I have scanned quite a few of them and I'm sure scanning existing lists is alot easier than scanning a whole bunch of IPs. Correct me if I'm wrong.
25% isn't bad and people should really make and maintain their own lists, rather than using the same ones as everybody else. This wouldn't allow cheaters to know exactly which proxylists people are using.

I know, but then I dont think you should post the ips. Some webmasters might just copy the whole list to their trade script... If you still wanna post it you should make it _very_ clear that the list is not checked!
Also what is an anon proxy? A proxy that doesnt spill your real ip? Doesnt send any proxy env variables? Only 100 or so of your "anon proxies" seems anonymious to me (doesnt send any proxy env variables) :)

There are 2 lists that I posted which I have checked to be anonymous and working. My program has verified them to be anonymous, as in not sending your real IP via X_FORWARDED_FOR: or VIA: headers. They may still identify themselves as a proxy, and that is ok because to a trade script or webserver not all proxies are bad.
Rather than standing around complaining about what I have posted, why not post some quality anonymous lists yourself?

I've found that proxys don't last very long or the port is changed ounce too many people start using them or spamming through them.

It doesn't hurt if you have proxies in your list that aren't working? right?
