Koon, SE work. First submit to DMOZ, then pay the $600 "review" fee to Yahoo. About my question?
wow 600??? isnt it only 250??
humm ... it is a bit too expensive i think
how much traffic do you get from yahoo normaly??
will they list CJ2 site ??? or just content sites??
Yes, dmoz is fine I'd say. Look for categories where there are editors listed (opposed to those where it says "This category needs an editor" - your submission might lay around there for a year or two lol). Submit there and see where you get listed first. Look for the editor of these "fast" cats, click on their profile, and see which other cats they have and then submit to those cats as well.

There is no such all inclusive software I believe. I'm not comfortable with tgp software but as for SE's I'd strongly recommend http://www.submitta.com - it smokes all other SE submitters including http://www.webposition.com and http://www.trellian.com (Submit Wolf). Webposition might be a bit better for ranking analysis though.

Koon. If it's porn site, Yahoo will charge you $600. If it's not, the price is about $200. Once your site is accepted by DMOZ(free to submit) and Yahoo ($600 for porn sites), it will easier to get accepted with the other SE. Look at the $600 as a return on your investment (ROI) and not as an expense.
Fart. Have you had any experience with Submitta? Of the 1,100 SE listed how many will accept Porn Sites?
I don't submit to all these 1,000+ sites anyway. There are about a dozen christian related SE's in there as well so take care http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif
You can select a specific set out of those engines and save this as a selection. Then you may use those SE's in your next projects with the click of a button.
I submit to Yahoo, Dmoz and Altavista manually. Then to about 50-100 or so with the program. I submit to all the regional Altavista, Lycos and Infoseek versions. All the big names including their regional versions make about 30 engines or so alone. Then there are the "only-regional" big SE's such as arianna.it in italy, voila.fr in france or fireball.de in germany. They all have decent traffic. Then there are quite a few middle sized engines mainly in US which are also worth it. It just takes a few minutes more to submit to those as well.
I'd say about 100 SE's world wide are worth it. The smaller ones would be worth it too from a certain point of view.
I'm just not in the mood to be so aggressive to submit to them as well. But when they have implemented that announced IP-Proxy-thingy (uses different IP's from Proxies for each domain and switches around between them accordingly, so you can pump through a lot more at the same time without beeing "detected" as the same person) then I will do more into that direction.
how often should i submit to search engine??
Each time you've updated/changed pages I'd say, and every few months for pages that haven't been updated. But I wouldn't submit good ranking pages again unless they drop in ranking.
so i should submit a free site or can i do it with my cj or tgp site??
will it be a waste to send traffic to CJ sites??

Unless your CJ has some content, don't bother. On some big SE, you'll be wasting your $99-$199 ($600 for Yahoo)"review fee" if you submit your CJ site with no content because they will not list you.
