45 mbps, ok I was thinking about something smaller, how many sites can you host on a 512 or 1 mb connection, iff you say that each site is 40 pics and have 400 visitors a day.
If you dont know please try and take guess.
thanks in advance

expect more than 400 / day man....dunno exactly what kind of site you expect to host but itll sure go over 400....
Let me guess you have DSL and think that's enough to run a server?
Well theoretically it would be sufficient but if you want your site to be always up and fast go with a host. You won't even get 90% uptime per month with DSL. A DSL-Modem hasn't been built for that.
its adsl, I dont know if that does any difference, does it. ?

build it up to 1k hits an hour and watch your motherboard melt doing it on your personal puter http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
thats if your isp doesnt shut you down for excessive traffic first http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/eek.gif
512k ADSL doesn't give you full 512k for input and output traffic. Usually 512k adsl comes with 128k or 256k output traffic and that's surely not enough.. not even for grandma's cooking site http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif
