Now guys tell me that scorpion2 has no bug on high traffic sites !

I had so many problems with scorpion2 so far that its hard to remember them all.

these were all errors i can remember:

1) I had false productivity tracking.
From one day to the other all my 170 trade partners suddenly had only half of their normal productivities !

2) My page stopped to load in the middle (cut off page) because the top x table template.html ruined the default.html after it has been written to it 10 or 15 times.
however everything is/was set up correctly for the top x table and the error is still occuring from time to time : (

3) I had so many corrupted users that i cant count them anymore http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/frown.gif

when i restore the database it doesnt work properly in most cases some users get lost although i made a manual backup with all users before !!

4) a totally messed up database...all users had the false domains and so on...i lost 35k on this day !!!

Is here anyone else using scorpion2 on a site that gets over 85k uniques daily ?
I coudl swear he has noticed similar problems.

And Krister always keeps telling me its not the scripts fault but only the users fault...the script would be perfect and totally error free !

I can only hope that Krister will soon release scorpion3 so that this shit cant happen all the time.

e.g. user hot_babes_tribute had the domain from xhooters.net and free_porn_xxx has the domain from hotbabestribute.com and so on !

I use S2 with no problems. the majority of ALL problems are caused by all the anti cheat that the script has. just turn off the ip tracking (unless you have a need) and flush the files. that solves the majority of all problems. Page getting cut off is mis typed html =)

my only complaint so far, is the fucking topx table. It worked for a day or two before going blank.

I have 3 scorpion2 scripts.
site1 60000 uniques
site2 25000 uniques with transformer
site3 6000 uniques

the only problem i have encountered is the .core file showing up on my server. Topx table works fine for me, although i don't use it anymore. Once in a while i get corrupted users. Productivity stats don't really make sense.

I love the ability to send traffic to different pages depending where the traffic is coming from. The different outscripts really are awesome.

1. link tracking "very important"
2. ability to force hourly or once a day and set it for each individual trade.
3. events
4. better trade statistics like i have seen on some scripts
5. Trading by category.
and a few others

Since day one (ES) i have bought scripts from Krister and I'm happy working with him.

Every script out there seems to be awesome. Some have features others don't. Remember, the script helps you do the trading, it does not magically create the traffic for you.

DialerDealer I can try to help you setup the topx table if you would like. I was able to set up the template pretty well. I can always give you my template to try out. If your stats don't fully reset(has happened to me), just clear the logs, reset and run the doctor.

yes i noticed that as well...as soon as i swithced of the "record logs" function the errors became much fewer....but it still happens !

Today my server crashed and s2 had 5 corrupted users and a corrupted out file.
i was not even able to view my stats.

I'm 99% sure that the template.html and default.html are set up correctly for the top x table.
Krister couldnt find anything false too !

Sounds like a overloaded server to me. Are you sure it was not the server crash that fucked up the files and not S2?

My server has over 1 GB ram.

The server is also regularly checked with netmechanic's server monitor.

I'm going to buy blindio now and see if it becomes better.
