Jesus. Anyone here play Starsiege or Mechwarior? That could be a triple autocannon.

Have you guys heard about that Australian company that designed a machine gun that can fire something like several hundred rounds a second?

The rounds are preloaded, one after another, and then are discharged by an electronic firing chain.

those would be a great addition to my laser fences and my auto-aiming rocket launchers.

oh btw I played mechwarrior 1 or 2 back then, great game :)

well, god DAMN!

by the way, although in the u.s. we always say we have "the right to bear arms", i believe the entire thing reads "the right to bear arms in a well-organized militia".

and i have a feeling that they weren't expecting anything like the arms above *lol*

MP5 can drop a hail storm with a rate of 800 rounds per min. That is my choice of weapon if i was able to buy one as a civillian. Maybe i will join the military just so i can own a class M weapon. :D

Some infos about this great weapon.

The MP5K looks bad ass and would be my choice... http://remtek.com/arms/hk/mil/mp5k/mp5k.htm

That other beast in the pic would cost a fortune in ammo and it would be a real bitch to clean. Just think what 2000 rounds would cost you to shoot that thing.

Basschick ;) I know this is more of a haha post then a political but the term
"the right to bear arms in a well-organized militia"
Has been interpreted by supreme court to meen that we have the right to have guns.
Much like the constitutional right to "life, LIBERTY, and pursuit of happiness" has been interpreted to mean that women have the right to abortions (The one word "liberty" giving them that right)

You are correct that the framers of the contstitution didn't mean for us to have weapons like the one shown in that picture. ;)

That weapon APPEARS to be fully automatic. And as such would be 100% illegal for a private citizen to own in the US ;) Much like the case where you have the right to free speech yet you DON'T have the right to scream "FIRE" in a crowded movie theater. You also have the right to bear arms. But NOT fully automatic weapons, silencers, guns that shoot over .50 caliber, hand grenades, rocket launchers and some other things too ;) Don't worry the guy down the street SHOULDN'T have one of those. And if he does report him to the ATF and they will happily arrest him ;)

Only the military can own weapons like that in the US ;) Rest easy ;) The right to bear arms is not absolute.
