There are thousands of reasons not to use automatic translators, I have to know, I'm a native to Spanish and I hold a Major in English, specialized in translation, BTW.
But the best reasons you shouldn't be using an automated translator is that 95% of the time they just don't make sense!

How many times have you read a page written by a guy whos native language is not english? Sometimes it can be funny, and when its done deliberately is often very clever, but most of the time you wanna scream.
