Finding the real host

Hi guys,

I found a person that removed the copyright code from my script and is using it on a live website http://www.sexigoddess.net

I have done a who is but it turns out he is the host, thats what the DNS says anyway. So how do I dig deeper to contact his reseller or real host?

He is hosted with www.rackshack.net / Ev1.net they should have no problem taking his box offline. ;)

I emailed Rackshack and it looks like they told him to remove the SexTrafic TGP files. He's now using ComusTGP v2.1.1.

Yeah, I have run into these people before with other scripts I have written, they were all free which was just to get my name out there, now it is I have to worry about these matters.

Once I release Boxx TGP im pretty sure I will get the same type of people you get turbo, that guy trying to sell your script for $800 is a god damn joke.

I remember reading once that 80% of people are good and will pay for a product, 20% will rip you off any way they can.
So put your prices up like Microsoft does. :D

hi i'm Jane from sexigoddess.com like i told u to begin with that site was coming down in a week or 2. i'm was quite offended u had the nerves to email at my PERSONAL email account while i was testing your script? i have no problem with paying for things. i am spending 200 dollars to get customize ad script made for me. your copyright was taken off because i was fitting the software for my soon to be tgp. and sexigoddess.net is a my testing domain. the tgp is actually going on the .com version. if u would of noticed the site design and layout has changed about 5 times with in the last 2 weeks and i have installed about 8 different tgp scripts they all suck. i actually the only ones i like were yours and comus. i liked yours and was planning on buying it once i saw how it worked with my site the features were quite nice. but before i could even finish customizing and installing you emailed me the next day? what is your software is bugged? i also brought a vbulletin board a few months back i also took out the copy right info and redesigned the forum 3 times before i settled with one design and their copy right info was put back in place then i opened the forum to the public. they had no problem with me doing that why should it be any different with a tgp script? and yes if u r emailing my personal email account its spam when i signed up for your script i give u my public email address to contact with me

and no i'm not using comus i'm having a script built for me because i can't find one to my liking and rackshack never emailed me. but you can contact them much faster at webhostingtalk.com where i am a active member at. they seem to always be there when i need them

next time wait a few days before u jump down someone throat. u just lost a customer

exactly i never used it. it was put on a UNUSED domain with no traffic for a little over 24 hours before he contacted me. i never even got the chance to test all the features. about time i got home from work after installing i had already got a email from him

because i wanted to see how it looked with my site design without the added in text. i'm not use to using scripts with copyright text i buy or have written for me almost 90% of my software. i'm a webdesigner before i became a adult webmaster i set up test site (or just a folder) every time i redesign my sites

I got your email from the whois and you or someone visiting your site clicked on the copyright link, my stats show where the link came from.

I don't get it... If you end up putting it back in before the site goes public, then why test without it to begin with?!?!? Makes absolutely zero sense. And, so what if he has a call home in his script?!? It is there to prevent just this from happening. If he hadn't had it then you may have continued to use it without the copyright. Honestly I can see no reason why you would need to test the design without the copyright... it just doesn't hold water with me. I'm a designer, too, and it never occurs to me, "Gee, I better make sure my design works without the copyright even though I'll be putting it back in."
