Hi. I am new to CJ. And I would like to ask people with experience some questions. I am using free CJPRO script.

How much do you usually force to your partners and what ratio do you set.

Would you delete small traders and keep only heavy hitters?

I would also appreciate if you could take a look at my site and give me your opinion.

Thank you in advance,

Here's you one advice: remove right click protection!

Why is this such a big problem? I am not trying to send a surfer with right click, only to prevent people from viewing my links/codes.

While it is true, that you aren't protecting a thing with a no right click script, except from a very new surfer... I fail to see why preventing them from viewing the page code would make them mad.

Unless of course...

The people that are trying to look at the code are other webmasters trying to rip off a site or see how something was done. And if they get mad because they have to click "view" and "source" in IE, rather than right-clicking... to bad.

But, I would like to know why you think this makes them mad. Someone that falls into a CJ trap is looking for porn... not source code.

Please let me know why you think that is the case, I am interested to learn more.

huh?

All I asked is why surfers would get mad?

I would like to know if that is just an opinion or if it is based on some real data, because I don't see surfers looking at code. Other webmasters are the only ones that would care what the code details are.

I am not defending the practice of the "no-right-click" thing or condoning it. I just don't see why anyone would get bent out of shape because they don't get to look at the source code with a right click.

Anyone can get the code from other means... but if it stops casual snoops... what's the harm? Other than frivilous bandwidth expense of course, but if virtualgirl wants to spend it that way, it's her site... I say let her.

Its simple surfers who have been burned or know a lil somthing bout CJs and popup hell can tell ya. If you right click a pr0n link on a CJ site regardless if its protected or not (just use both buttons which takes practice to do properly but it can be done). This method will reveal the true link no matter what your mouseover shit says.

Right Click and Remove the Mouse from the link while its still highlighted it will reveal magically in the status bar. the menu will popup but dont click the menu leave it there doh/!!

I can tell the second i hit a site if its CJ by right click or double click if java is blocking. Check about 2-3 links and see php or CGI on the end of the URLs.

Most surfers learn to do the same thing maybe not all but many. If i see a php or a cgi especially if i see the word out im closin that page without a doubt. However right click to blind link sponsor could be useful for ya but never in trades.

No matter what you do the only protection for your code is to keep it on your computer and never let anyone look at the pages http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/tongue.gif
