goto traffic can be very nice if you give them exactly what you promise.

Make sure that only the people you need are clicking on your listing, unless you have a lot of money stay out of the top 3, make sure that people actually read your lisiting before they click.

if your lsiting is 'FREE PORN HERE' everyone will click on it without reading your description. If your listing is 'use your credit card to prove your age' people will read your description before they click.

I've been using goto for the last few months, it's much better then posting galleries.

What you want to do is ONLY buy terms that you can get #1-3. This means you're targetting niche terms, and #1 should only be $.01

If anyone needs help marketing, you can contact me.

Just look at the banner on it - It tells it all...

I've been using Goto for about one year. But lately, every time I try to purchase a new key word from them, I get rejected because they say I'm using a Sextraker banner and suffers can have access to a teen site within three clicks from my webpage, and unless I can prove those teens are over the legal age and remove the Sextracker, they will not list my new keyword. The problem is that I dont have a sextracker banner (however, my sponsor's site has one) and my site doesn't deal with teens content (however, my sponsor has a pop up to a teen site).

Since I can no longer buy new words on Goto which btw is very good in terms of conversion, I now use Findwhat, Kanoodle and Bay 9 which are also good but they bring less surfers to my site.

quotealex: yea same thing happends to me. they are getting VERY picky about which sites they will allow.. But if you can get them in there, great traffic http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif

Good to know I'm not the only one. Is Goto trying to get rid of porn sites? On all the new parterships (i.e. AOl, Altavista) their doing, they always exclude "adult sites". Why is that? http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/mad.gif

does anayone make good money paying the new 5c bid on goto.com?

i didn't do as well with goto since they raised their prices to 5 cent per click minimum. i'm not sure why that should matter, but it did.

i make okay sales on search123, but they don't send that many hits overall.

Same with realnames. They gave me "pamela sex video" just to revoke it after a few weeks. In Goto, I tried a nice term but made the mistake to put a auto redirect on the target page and they told me something like you need to have the content on your page etc..

I guess it's too late already to make a fortune with any of these pay-for engines or services

I even tried a Hun submission again yesterday out of desperation hahaha

I spent $1500 on goto one month, on high listings and low listings, with their review structure, same with other PPC engines, it was a waste of money. It will only work if you spend about $2k a month for like 6 months on a recurring proggie probably.

Well, we spend about $6000 per month on GoTo promoting CEN sites exclusively. From this $6k we spend, we take in about $21k. The real key to success I found is your investment into the keywords. We bid on over 15,000 keywords and it took us well over 2 months to create the compilation of keywords. If your willing to spend the money, GoTo can be a great investment, but only if you spend the time looking for the right keywords. And don't ask for my keyword list, it's one of my most valued assets :-)

those people at goto are assholes they wanted a password to make sure a site i wanted to promote has not child porn in there. It wasn't even a damn teen site. I wasn't even linking to the site it was a full page ad.

those who lost money what sort of description did you use saying the price or credit card needed should keep clicks lower
but with good ratios did anyone do that and lose $ if so how much did you pay for listings so far I've only just started with
findwhat have 13 sites listed but not much traffic in yet I may need to use goto as they must have more traffic
