TMPEGnc: can't open VOB

Hello People,

Thanks for all of your advices...

Finally I gave up on FlasKMPEG and decided to use TMPGEnc instead.

But when I get to TMPEGnc and tried to open VOB file as Video File in Select source file section it gives me:

File "C:\DVD\SLUTS_5\VIDEO_TS\Vts_01_1.vob" can not open,or unsupported.

What possibly wrong happened with TMPEGnc?
Why its not allowing to open VOB files?

I just was able to do it yesterday...

I'm a little rusty on this stuff now, but I don't think tmpeg handles vob files.

You might try Dvd2Avi. There are lots of other free progs that will handle vobs too. Check out www.vcdhelp.com for more help.

Download smartripper, as well as the .vob files it will create a .d2v project file which tmpgenc will understand.

tmpgenc is well worth the learning curve, I've been using it for 6 months and I'm still finding out new ways to do things.
