how to stop a SPAMMER

there this guy that shoots like ten emails to post galleries...he did it 3 days in a row so far..


some of you might have gotten it...

i already told him to remove me the first time but there still doing it..

how can you stop him?

there is probably a function with your mail program that allows you to block a sender.

If you use microsoft outlook click on his message, than select message from the task bar, then choose block sender. done.

Hey,

Get this program:

Then copy the email headers and it will
parse the email and tell you where the
injection point is (If the headers are faked)

Then complain to the abuse address at that
site - dont just delete or filter spams,
get them taken down if you can.

In the email headers, there will be
an ip inside brackets [127.0.0.1] (example only) if it
does not match the domain it is faked, and
you have to try the next received header
until you find a good one, this is useually
the injection point.

You can also try to get an email address
where the provider uses the MAPS RBL, MAPS
dialup user list and radparker relayed spam
system, that will cut down a lot of spam.

Never reply to a spam, 90% of the time the
'remove me' address is set up only to
verify that the email address was a good
one, then they spam it some more and sell
