Just done with coding my ThumbNail Spot. Uploaded the stuff to my server and was just in the middle doing some advertising about it (check SIG).

BAM!!!!

I almost jumped off my chair, the sound almost like a firecracker came from my mouse. I slowly and shaky I move the mouse a bit, bam.. again but this time not so loud, but a whispering shhh sounding from the mouse now...

I pull myself together and realize my mouse is run by 2 AA batteries, I open the mouse and what do I see?
The whole damn mouse is filled with some white battery liquid! The battery exploded somehow.

What we've learned today?
NEVER jerk off with your computer mouse, it can hurt you, badly if you're unlucky ;)

Even though it shouldn't have such effects, now you know why they say you shouldn't put different batteries together ;)

The problem is that you put it in the wrong way round and it actually kept coming and coming.

I love my cordless mouse, except it really travels a lot farther when I get pissed off and throw it. Without the cord attached, it's harder to find, too.

I'm LMFAO here......but I'd have to agree with not mixing battery types. Sounds plausible.
