I am only 16 and have been making a steady income for the past few months from various projects on the net. Recently the word "tax" hit me. In the UK there is no age requirement for somebody to pay tax... I have not been keeping very good records of anything... cause its not in my nature and I didn't think bout it much!

I heard about these offshore companies but I don't know much about them and where the fuck is Belize? =)

Some info would be v. much appreciated...

Merry christmas to ya all!

I prefer paying these taxes as everyone else in your country does. I would NEVER transfer all my funds to some country which I don't even know where it's located at.

And hell does a tax of 40% of all your profits (yes profits! not income) really hurt you?

Hey Hans,

Belize is located on the Caribbean seaboard of Central America. It's bordered on the north by Mexico and on the south and west by Guatemala.

Sure it's alot easier not to pay taxes, but if everyone were thinking that way, we would have no people to pay the hospitals, the police and so on. (but who cares?)

Very soon i am going offshore myself, and i have some very good contacts into the world of offshore. If you are interested i can work on it and provide you with some information about expenses etc. and how it all works.

BTW. if you want to make a offshore IBC yourself, then don't do it elsewhere than Panama!!! It is the far most secured country when it comes to offshore companies.. Just for your own best.

Best regards and merry Xmas,
KimJ

Isn't that exactly what an offshore account finally leads to?

Just do a search on yahoo.com for "Offshore Banking" and you will find lots of places. If you get caught you will get in serious trouble, so don't bother if you don't want to break the law. Its risky.

Good Luck

thing is, with most offshore, there's a considerable ammount you have to pay upfront, no?

And what happens when a big bad hurricane desides to wipe your offshore bank off the map? LOL wouldn't that be a bad day http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif

Hans.

I'm also a Brit.

You are 16, what you are doing is against the law here (assuming your various projects are linked to the site you posted this message to http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif).

You don't have a credit card, so i take it you are using your parents card?

If they don't know, tell them what you do, with a big fat paycheck in your hand http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif

If i were you, i'd see an accountant about going Ltd, talk to him about it, there are a few pros and cons (national insurance for employers is a bitch).

At 16, you can't even be a director of your limited company, so seriously, forget going offshore.

Adult is "dodgy" in the UK as it is (with respect to hardcore mainly).

Fucking with the Tax Man is going to make thins a whole lot worse.

I hate paying tax, but so does everyone. Working self-employed makes it even more obvious how much you are paying, because its not PAYE.

With respect, at 16 you are not going to be experienced enough to make all the calls, thats what accountants are there to advise you for. I admit myself, that i am a "newbie" in the business side of things, and i am glad to have help and advice about the way i run things.

Don't run before you can walk http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif

Good luck with things, hit me up on icq for a chat if you like.

Richard.
