TGSW Gurus question 4 u

Ok i just got this script set up on my server. You have to add all the TGP's in by hand and thier is a lot of them hehe =) like over 900. My question is I have about 100 added in so far. If I go ahead and run the program for these that I have added when I add more tgp's will it go back and resubmit galleries to them that have already been submitted to others?

No, it wont do that. It will submit the latest gallery to all the TGPs. The older gallery will not be submitted again to the newly added TGPs.

A good idea might be to buy tgswupdates and get all TGPs enabled instantly.

get TGSW updates and then customize the DB to your own specs, you'll get setup faster, but you'll still have to spend some time working on your DB weekly.

Another guestion =) One of my folders is names teens. I only added 20 pics in thier just to give it a test run. It submitted to over 100tgps and moved the pics. Do I need to remove them now from the teen folder or will the program know that thy have been used by thier name? I know these are proabably dumb ass questions but I have never used this proggy before hehe =)))

The program will know you have used them if you just upload some newer pictures. But if you run it again without uploading new pictures, it will build galleries using those pics again since it wont have any other pics to use.

tgswupdates costs you $100 for a year's worth of updates. It will instantly enable all your TGPs and give you all the recip images etc. which you upload to your server. Vince updates every 2 weeks, and I think its worthwhile if you are going to use tgsw at all, since new TGPs get added and old TGPs change their submission forms and it a headache doing the updates yourself.

Are you using server or desktop version?

I would assume Vince (from tgswupdates) would do it better than I would, since he has some responsibility and also does it regularly. I used to update tgsw once every 4 months or so, so it was always out of date. Also, I have 5 copies of tgsw, and tgswupdates does keep the traffic higher with them since it updates all 5 categories (among many others). All in all, if you're lazy, or could make more money with your time, get tgswupdates. If you have a lot of time do the updates yourself. I did it myself in the beginning so know all the rules etc. and am pretty sure I wont get banned (and havent). The maximum tgswupdates does is get your categories wrong, and that wont get your domain banned.

Shane I just wanted to know if your worldsex submissions were getting a confirmation email. It does not seem to be working with the server version ever since he got a script.

If you have worldsex enabled, could you go into the 'View Logs' option, and browse through the drop down menu till you find worldsex and tell me what the server response was? That log has the saved pages that come up after the script has submitted the galleries to each TGP.

No world sex was not one of them. I will add it today and run the program again tonight and let you know =) How many sites does your script submit too? Mine started out like at 900 and something disabled then when I went back yesterday it said like 500 disabled total and i know i did not add that many of them hehe anyways thanks for taking the time to help me ;)

I think something is messed up =( World Sex is not on my list. I had almost 1500 sites to start with then I loged back into my stats and it only had like 594....I proabably need to reinstall it but I am not starting over. It takes to long. I have had lots of problems so far.

My TGSW collected a lot of dust before TGSW Updates came along. I've used the server and windows version and I like the windows version much better because you are working on your own computer and it's quicker to move files around.

I thumbnail my own pics because tgsw makes crappy thumbs and I can choose all horiz or vert pics so the galleries look better (that is the most obvious clue someone is using tgsw is the page looks like crap because of that)

Desktop version can still run without you, go into your windows scheduler and set this
"C:\Program Files\TGSW\tgsw.exe" -submit
