15 cents seems low to me too. There are email programs out that pay over 70 cents an email address. A download in my perspective would be a lot harder to achieve from a surfer than it would be getting an email address. Those are just my thoughts.

I think That CE is Shaving webmasters with that deal. only one making money will be CE, maybe a 1$Dollar$1 per download would be about right..and i bet your link is burried somplace on there browser..

Not only is the payout way too low, but this fucking lameass software is 3MB (and it uses your installed browser to actually browse).

On top of that, once you sell the person... they're GONE. I wouldn't expect them to come back any time soon.

I put it as a java alert on my 34k site for about 6 hours, I had a whole fucking 38 downloads and only 17 subscribers, it wouldnt even be worth it if the paid 1$.

Man that sounds like a real shitty deal to me. They give you 15 cents for a surfer that they get to advertise to day after day after day..... Think about it, they will get great sign up ratios through this thing. Its just like the email sponsors. You get them an email and they keep sending them advertisments. They get something like a 1/99 sign up ratio with the email alone. With the browser they can show them much better advertisments increasing the sign up ratio even more. Email sponsors give you upwards 80 cents, these guys 15??? The deal Blows!!!!

the major problem is 3mb download......i mean how long does it take to download that file on a 56k connection...

i think 1$ per email makes sense....
but 15c a download....even if download.com was offering it they wouldnt make more than 2 bucks...
