What good is the Trading Board?! =(

After posting for trades to my CJ to various boards, after 3-4 days I have to end up deleting nearly half of them due to innactivity or sending me way less than i send them. Whats the point?

Currently I'm sending out nearly 70% more than I am recieving in my trades. How in the world do you find good sites to trade with that aren't just some small little 10 hits a day cj that cant send any traffic at all?

Well thats why people always say it aint as easy as it seems...

I wont post my sites on the board because every time i have all i get is shit trades and cheaters. What i do now is stick to less trades but larger trades and most new trades come from toplists on my better trades.

In my view its not worth it to get 5 bad trades just to get 1 good one. I suggest you look at toplists on other bigger trade sites for decient trades...

Nobody wants to trade normal,
everybody or try to cheat or simply cant send
back the same they get from you because of their low clickthrough ratio (because they get their traffic FROM BLIND LINKS OR THUMBS)

When i traded with CJ and TGPs my traffic
was very low (and BAD and UNPRODUCTIVE).

I started to trade with big tops and my traffic raised 10 times from 2-3k a day to 30k a day !!!!

Tops is the best way of traffic exchange !:
1) You get 100%+ clickthrough ratio
2) You get stable traffic every minute every hour every day
3) You dont have any this shitt rules - like
no consoles, java allerts, cotent..bla bla bla.....

But finding good toplists now days without ILLEGAL or RAPE on them is quite difficult and that traffic is shit..

Instead of posting your urls always post your icq number. Most cheaters won't take the time out to contact you to get a trade going.

Soon then you will get a bunch of people on your icq that you can contact when you need trades or have a new site. It does seem like a lot of people can't send shit back right now.

A year since I got my first trading script, and mainly by using the toplists of good trades to find other good trades, I have a healthy, steady flow of productive traffic.

So that's good advice, but mainly because when you do find a decent large trade, it so much more worthwhile. Otherwise, I haven't found trying to trade with bigger sites any less frustrating: still lots of lousy return ratios, unproductive traffic, webmasters apparently happy to let trades die, etc.

Once in a while I start a couple of new trades, usually to be reminded why after I was happy with my trade levels, I stopped bothering.

There probably are webmasters out there who don't have a clue and others who have their scripts set up to take short-term (and short-sighted) advantage of new trades. But another problem is that the scripts just aren't as good as they should be.

Right now, I'm using X3, which is way the best of the three I have used so far. Even so, it doesn't like you to set too many forces, which makes it very hard to trade with other sites that reset overnight and then wait for you to start the new day's trade with them. It places way too much emphasis on big trades (but "forgets" which were the big trades yesterday), so any trade that doesn't get under way strongly right after the reset, even with forces, is going to be playing catchup all day.
