View Full Version : Would people trade traffic for custom nudie pics?

I started Timlog.com a week ago and studied all the possibilities to get traffic. Free content is either hard to get listed or not profitable when you get listed. Traffic trading is mostly done based on equal trade, in my case <1k per day. Exchanging hard links with a polite request to help me get started leads to unfulfilled promises from a handful of kind web masters. Bottom line is that you don't get anywhere if you are a newbie adult webmaster with only 1 project.

This is where the business man in me stood up, 'cause in business development I'm not a newbie :-). Please give your opinion on the following.

I decided to create a limited offer for people who want to trade with me. In February 2003 I'll have a photo shoot with ravishing Tarah. She is my favorite model, a stunning babe and nice to work with. We'll do a studio shoot with professional lighting, make up, styling and everything.

Tarah and I will prepare five T-shirts, all with different URL's on them like www.somebodies-site.com. We will shoot about 50 hot and glossy promo pics in every shirt, penthouse style. Tarah strips nude for the 5 winners! They get the exclusive right on the complete promo set. Possibilities:
- add them to gallery pages,
- put one on the splash page,
- mix her in their logo.

To win one of these custom sets, my fellow webmasters just add a link to http://www.timlog.com on their site and start sending traffic. I monitor my stats daily. The top 5 traffic generators by January 31, 2003 will get their own personal Tarah pics. I take it, since this doesn't cost them a cent it must be challenging! Just a hard link on a strategic position on their site. The first 20 web masters that respond get a free text link in the daily link list during this promotion. In fact I compensate the non-equal traffic trade during the first weeks with Tarah's pics.

So, this is what I fabricated out after I studied myself into this industry. All comment is highly appreciated!

oh and i dont understand the t-shirts, what does everybody get a t-shirt with some pics on it if your in the top 5 ? what about the little guy, one of the big sites could just force you 1000000000000000 hits one day and win hands down. i dont think thats fair. maybe you should have 'classes' or diffrent catagories based on traffic volume.. just my $0.02.. ill send you a few hits just to be nice :)

The top 5 senders get a personized promo set of 50 pictures with Tarah wearing a shirt with their URL or logo on it (also some with her not wearing it :D)

I've been struggling with that, too. I'm afraid that people will slow down in order to stay in the top of their class instead of the lower end of a higher class. But I agree totally with your point. Hope that somebody has an idea here.
