Paying for getting a gallery listed????

Today I was surfing a tgp site and had a look at their submit page. Shit, no more form to submit the galleries, instead of there was an offer from the webmaster to list 1 gallery for 5$, ok you'll get for sure much traffic for it but hey, I don't think that guy had grown up without 1000's of submiters and now his is big and want money for it.<br /><br />Tell me what you guys think about that!<br /><br />greets

one positive point to it would be that if<br />the gallery maker is paying for a gallery slot,<br />he is less likely to be a cheating fucker and<br />redirect galleries or worse.

Yepp you are right but it could also go into the other direction. What will you do if nobody is submitting anymore? I personally would not give a cent for getting my gallery listed on such a tgp. I think its a bad idea.<br /><br />let all those "new webmasters" with free content, free hosting and free advice post at tgps all day long while we work for real and explore money making areas where no (wo)man has gone before <img border="0" alt="[Finger]" title="" src="graemlins/finger.gif" />

I think it's great idea.<br />You'll get rid of newbies, and you will get for sure next day posting on high traffic spots.<br />You can definitely make at least 2 sales from that traffic which means you will pay of those 5$, your bandwith and you still have something in your pocket for good cup of coffee <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" />
