Hey Kong,
Please explain.. I hate them too but I dont get why from that page?
Its loading up here
Take a look at it. If your paying for bw how can you compete with that? I get my bw pretty cheap but I still wouldnt make a profit off a gallery that clean.

--all big pics are under 20kb...some are 12kb
--2 sponsorlinks, its clean, but peoples like clean gallerys...and click the things...maybe more than at cluttered gallerypages.
i do myself clean pages like this, but on paidhosting, and it pays out;-)
i'm happy if this terra thing goes down the roof, all competitors expire overnight..lol

Hey Kong: So you hate Terra because it's almost perfect? Am I crazy or what?
The fact that people saves money is not bad in itself. First you'd blame sponsors: They ask you to promote their sites, you must provide the bandwidth, the content (well, OK, sometimes you can use the same content everybody uses) and pray to be paid! (chances are 50/50 and then comes shaving). Now, ask NY Times to post an ad for your service and you'll pay them ONLY if you sell enough. With this in mind, everything I can use not to lose hundreds or even thousands of dollars is simply perfect.
Then come TGP and link lists: you must provide then with recips, your gallery must not have more than 2 ads, with maximum weights and heights, no popups, yadda-yadda-yadda. Lately, they want only pay hosting and free servers come only if there's some space at the end of the list. And some of them doesn't even accept Terra!!!!! This coming from the same ones complaining because the biz is lowering, when they're one of the main reasons! (and I've a TGP, so I admit it). Now, just a thought: If you don't feed those TGP with content, they don't have anything to post, so the equation is: you must spend big money to give them content for free so they can make big money. In the REAL world, they'd pay for the content! And, again, then I choose Terra!
Finally, don't wanna sound selfish, but the least people using Terra, the better, so most of us could live without the expert advice of people enlightning newbies. You don't kill the golden egg chicken, right? If the mass of webmasters choose to use Terra, then they will get that perfect service down. And you'll need to spend thousands of dollars because of your "good will" to help, capisce?
Peace (and profits)
Harvey
