My brother had the same and he contacted ARS about it. It was fixed in a few hours, but still doesnt know why they shut down his account. I would say contact them and ask them whats wrong.

The same thing happened to me today. I have to wait till tomorrow until someone can help me.

I have been sending them good quality AVS and search engine traffic.

I don't get ARS at all,if you convert 1:2000 they shut you down for unproductive activity,if you convert 1:100 they say your cheating them...what makes them happy??

Find another sponsor then guys... if this is the treatment they give their webmasters give them the old middle finger and leave. They'll get the idea once enough webmasters leave...

Seriously though, if I'm too productive and they suspect something, do the research themselves on their own time and don't hold back payments. They miss one payment or are late and I'm finding myself another sponsor.

You guys should too, tell these big boys that their life and blood comes from webmasters like us. They're here to make us happy, not the other way around...

a year ago my friend promoted ars for one day, made one sale, and his account was put on hold *lol* he emailed, didn't hear back, and moved on. but most people i know who write do get helpful responses from ars.

letcher, i don't know anyone ever thrown out of the ars per sale program for conversion - and i know people with 1:3500+ ratios~!

I'm surprised ARS doesn't take its webmasters more seriously, even 1 per day really adds up across a couple thousand webmasters. And isn't it the credit card processor's responsibility to weed out these fraudulent cards? It's nice if ARS tries to help out, but putting the webmasters accounts on hold for something the CC processor should be doing seems just wrong.

you were aware that the last 5 days was their bonus $50 dollar signup week

maybe if you just joined them they are looking into the signups because a percentage of the sales are going to charity

don't know, but just thought i'd add my 2 cents

ARS is bullshit. They get hacked somedays, and earn profit with your traffic. Puts your accounts to on-hold and not pay.

They really sucks. Use something else. Like dollarmachine (has a freehost)

Another webmaster told me that ARS shut down his account after he got just ONE signup the first day of the program and this happened only one week ago. They told him there was fraudulent signup. Something must be wrong with ARS and the way they handle things. Just by sending out a stupid mail saying:

Payout Support <nmancini@i2intl.com>

"A hold has been placed on your ARS webmaster account xxxxxx.
We feel this is necessary because of False Check/Credit Card Sign-ups.

Feel free to contact us if you have additional questions"

This is to me just too stupid not telling exactly what was the problems and when you try call them they dont have time to talk with you because they are issuing CHECKS for their webmasters.

Anybody knows what priority ARS is giving these kind of situations?? Anybody spoke with ARS about this before?

That makes a ton of sense. NOT.

We tell site owners that we are putting resellers on hold for fraud investigation all the time.

As does every responsible program owner.

Of course you could be terminated without an investigation if you prefer I'm sure.

After I got the first email I replied asking to have them re consider and this is what they said.

Their were numerous sign ups with the same ip address and having different
names . This account will not be taken off hold .

So much for my check :-(

After 1 sale? I would imagine that they need at least 10 or so sales to show a track record if the majority of sales are fraudulent.

I'm glad I decided to not use ARS :-)
If my check didn't come through I'd be really pissed!

I sent far more than one sale in this last period. But the traffic justified the number of signups. I told them I was more than happy to have them deduct the fraud but they have chosen to keep my account closed.

I am soooooo pissed.

Hi I am the webmaster who was fucked by ARS after just one sale those bastards told me I made fraudulent signups!

Man I don't even know how to cheat them I am not some kind of Bill Gates sitting in a dark room with a Star Trek shirt hacking adult paysite sponsors. I have been in this business for a long time and never had these kind of problems before.

I think their paysite flopped and they are trying to wipe out their debt by deleting the accounts of the webmasters of whom they know are doing well with signups.

I advice all fellow webmasters to stop doing business with them because they are not caring about your hard earned traffic

Hope they will get kicked out soon

Regards,

Rishi

i'm so tired of reading all those whining posts from one-time posters... why would ARS bother to cheat you for 1 or 2 sales? i've been with them for more than 2 years, made hundreds of signups and never ever had a problem... and now comes mr nobody and starts shouting that he got fucked after 1 sale... gee... you're so fucking pathetic...

get a life and play your dirty cheating tricks somewhere else...

Hey what the hell are you trying to diss other honest webmasters who got fucked by ARS! We didn't post that much over here but you didn't either 74 post wow what a record man. I "crown" you the "webmaster" with the most retarded posts, 74. Just because you got your tiny check it doesn't mean all others got their big checks.

Bailar and I are honest webmasters who have been playing this webmastergame for a long time and never cheated anyone nor dissed other webmasters. That's why we got so big and respectfull.

Go tell your 2surfers to keep signing up for the shitty ARS service sites you promote and don't call us cheaters as you don't even know us. Who is the pathetic one over here dissing other webmasters you will never get far in this game with your bitchy attidute.

Well, we've seen a few people here complaining about the account cancellations they do, not just the one or two timers.

Hi,

I was one of the people who got my ARS account closed because of false signups. I spoke with a representative from ARS about this and we managed to solve everything together. I was not sure how ARS would handle this claim with me because of the difficult circumstances ( cc false signups ) but I was surpriced to see the interest and high level support I was given from them. Thanks again ARS!

I hope you other guys will get solved out with ARS also.
