View Full Version : Playstation backup copies - how to??

hi everybody,<br /><br />A little of the area topic here - sorry:-)<br /><br />Any profs that can tell how to copy playstation games on a cd burner for BACKUP purposes:-))<br /><br />I tried to copy game but cd drive wont even recognize it. My kids are getting furious with me!!!<br /><br />Please advice<br /><br />thanks

Select your CD recorder as input device and choose (for safety considerdations) 1x as read speed. <br /> 5.Open the page Read Options and select (if these options are available for your recorder): "Read media catalog number and ISRC", "Continue copying", "Data Mode 1": "Force Raw reading" "Write uncorrected", "Data Mode 2": "Force Raw reading" "Write uncorrected", "Read audio with subchannel", "Ignore read errors" and uncheck "Jitter correction".<br /> 6.Open the Image page and choose a harddisk drive with at least 700MB of free disk space. <br /> 7.Select the page Burn and choose (for safety considerations) 1x as write speed. <br /> 8.Click the Burn button<br /><br />*************************************<br />Procedure for DiscJuggler (Padus) (1.05.238 or higher)<br /><br />Backup Instructions: <br /> - Start DiskJuggler (1.05.238 or higher). <br /> - From the action-bar choose View and select Options. <br /> - In the Options window select the Verify tab and select the Check data blocks with software generated EDC/ECC... option (if not selected already). <br /> - In the Options window select the Defaults tab and change the Max image size to 80 min(s) (for v1.05.238) or 85 min(s) (for v1.05.238-TU RADIUM). <br /> - When ready click [OK]. <br /> - From the action-bar choose File and select New. <br /> - In the New Task window select CD Player to CD Recorder and click OK. <br /> - In the Task 1 - CD Player to CD Recorder window select the following settings (all other settings should be left default): <br /><br />Source & Destination Tab <br />Source - Select Source CD-Reader <br />Destination - Select Destination CD-Writer (if needed) <br /><br />Advanced Tab <br />ISRC and UPC - Select <br />Scan gaps/indexes - Select <br />Raw read/write - Select <br />Ignore read errors - Select <br />Read speed 1x - (when possible select a faster speed) <br /><br />Action<br />Pull-Down menu - Select Write <br />Copies - 1<br /><br />Methode<br />Slower/Faster Select Save the entire contents of the disc in a temporary file and write a 1X. <br /><br /> - When ready click Start to start the copy process <br /><br />peace

But most psx games can be burned with a simple cd burner

kids wreck playstation games<br /><br />I wish I still had good copies of my original versions of GTA I & II<br />those top down games were fun, too
