What Is A CJ Site?..Plz dont laugh

As I am new to this side of the industry...without any laughing....could you guys fill me in what is a CJ site and whats the big hype about them...

CJ stands for Circle Jerk

The idea being that you send a sufer around in circles so for example when they click a thumb instead of a large pic they will be sent to another CJ site which will then send them on to another site.

Of course they can stop at any time by joining a pay site. My thoughts on CJ sites is that they are a thorn in the world of free porn it keeps a surfer on thier toes. If you speak to surfers they love the free porn but they all at one time or more have come across that terrible site that keeps poppping console after console. So they know NOTHING is 100% free

I am not new to adult webmastering but the CJ-world is a completely new world for me.

Its like I missed a plane and did not even realise it..... its so wiered I never came across this board before. DAMN IT I still cant believe it..

I think of understanding the concept of circling the user around, so he is pissed big time and then signs up with a sponsor on a randomly picked CJ-site.

Maybe someone could lower himself and give me a ultrashort intro in concept and stratedy(&secrets of course)

There's no point in trading links without using any sponsor at all. The point is that sponsor links are not always too obvious. Sometimes people send traffic to their sponsors by java alerts or by the download of a dialer when the surfer clicks on a nice text/picture. Another times also, webmasters send hits to their sponsors just as it was a trade. Either forcing hits, sending the surfers that have a browser with no referal information (which is useless for trades), etc.

Some CJ's dont have sponsors because they are feeders that push the surfers into their pay sites or TGP's where they can keep them. This builds more bookmarks and makes them more loyal since they think everyone else is jerking them and your giving them the real shit.

offcours too much of them would be wrong, but some just keeps the bizz running.
