I read up on them when the first spams came through... Seems those domains wont be live (active) until 'sometime' in 2002 - and when they do go live, they can only be viewed through modified browsers.


I'll pass - I got burned on some other 'new domain' extentions last year.

The .sex tld is a colider, that means that the .sex domain has multiple owners.

This will take months before company`s worked out who the owner is. So please don`t register any .sex domains cause at this moment you`ll be ripped. There are now five different sites of www.sex.sex, (http://www.sex.sex,) this because of the different owners who start selling domains when they weren`t even theirs.

Everybody uses a different nameserver to surf with, so it depends which site you`ll get to see.

As well as .sex you can get other extensions from a weird kinda company which needs you to have software installed on your system to use these new domain name extensions.

Note your basically buying a 4th level domain like chris.xxx.new.net and it displays at: chris.xxx

Don't trade marks only cover someone else useing the name for the same type of bussines
I think the hun has the trade mark for porn sites and someone else has it for something else

not true anymore.

there ia s "new" icann on the way and allready 5% of the current providers surf trough their rootservers, with new ones coming on daily basis.

this whole .sex is a big scam those are all colliding (wich means multiple people are selling them) but this. "have you own tld" is not a fake. its real.

if anyone is interested in the whole progress or latest developments about it. gimme a shout on icq ok.

not trying to spam here, but i know some of the initiaters of it (very very large investors), and i would be more then glad then to explain anyone about it.
