I have made a page that I really like but there is one problem...its over 100k total. But I have been thinking it over and have come to the hypothesis that since the the html page itself is only 55k, I can just make sure I use the image height and width options so that the page can load with all of the links first and then the images..will this work ok?

Is your cj html page 55kb? That's way too much!

yea width and hight tags will speed up your page loading, unless the whole thing is im a table

I don't know if you already did it, but if you put
<base href="http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/ucj/"> above your </head> tag, you only have to put <a href="c.cgi?link=whatever"> for your links and not http://www.yourdomain.com/cgi-bin/ucj/c.cgi?link=whatever 100 times in your HTML ... that will save some space (if you didn't already have it) http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif

Yeah, the pics are in a table. There are 16 tables with one pic in each. The html file itself is 50k already shrunk. http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/frown.gif

I made a really good CJ2 site layout with a good productivity in the past....and the site was about 15kb big, with javascript.
