Just fucked up!!

But hopefully it teaches everyone drop Microsux and go LinuX!!

I think they are just asking for trouble and when these advertisers get hit with tons of crap untargeted traffic it won't be in their favor.. ;0)

Also im 99% shure a quick fix will be sent out to disable this ASAP as people learn to exploit this for evil purposes.

Don't have a cow, guys! Use this on all your sites:

<meta name="MSSmartTagsPreventParsing" content="TRUE">

It comes from this document:

Forget it I just watched a report on First Business and Microsux announced they have killed the idea in IE6 shipments and the final release of WinXP. Seems the flames forced them to stop it as everyone was bitching because of the manoply it would create.

Everyone can feel the relief now. http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif

It may be as simple as a tag however imagine if you have 200 gallerys floating around on free hosts or a site that had many pages. It takes time to add that small tag to every page.

This would be especially true for pay sites with many gallerys who outsource page building. Each update would cost them $$$ and if it were you who was affected by it in such terms you would be pissed too. I know just tring to remember to add that to every page could become a real pain in the ass for those who use notepad sometimes like myself....

With Internet Explorer's control of internet browsers, I just worry that they are thinking up more *enhancements*, that would give them and their paying affiliates a MONOPOLY of internet traffic. It reminds me alot of what happenned to television and cable where only a handful of companies control the thousands of channels in the media.

Then again maybe I'm just paranoid. http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif
