I haven't been able to access the site for 2 days. I'm starting to miss the mud-slinging, ego-clashes, opportunism and character assassinations. http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif

Since when does it take a few weeks to set up a dns server??
I think sexshare has bigger problems then just a dns server http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/frown.gif
Mhh ?
Domain: resourcevault.com
Domain servers in listed order:
NS0.DIRECTNIC.COM 66.79.10.199
NS1.DIRECTNIC.COM 64.38.245.203
Hmm?

Sandman, the primary DNS server (ss1) that Blue Mongoose uses on their free servers died last week. They fixed it up, and once all the info propogated again, it started working for a couple of days.
Then something screwed up again on the fixed machine, and the network went down again.
From what I know, the problem this time seems to be a lot more severe than the first time - but I'm only going from limited info.
They're working hard on it, and things will be working again asap.
Unfortunately it took down not only the free servers, but several other sites that run on the BM network - including wolfie's resource vault and Pornshare TGP (anyone trading with Pornshare, please bear with us).

So the whole bm network is run on 1 dns server?? No backup server?? I figured if you were running ti all on 1 dns server you would do a daily backup of it just in case.

Don't ask me.. Just letting you know what I've been told http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif
They did have a backup server - don't ask me what went on with that.
I have no affiliation with them other than running a site for them, so I naturally asked around when the site stopped responding.
There's more to it than what I've said.. Just giving the highlights as I know them.
Jason.
It does seem to be a rather big problem as resourcevault's DNS servers are run by directnic and I don't think they just went down at the same time too http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif
