I think this is something you should all be aware of and also support as it could affect your business as well as that of your end users. This information was obtained from an email directed towards IPP/ISP providers and resellers. This will directly affect any OpenSRS or BulkRegister.com resellers first hand as well as service providers.
Verisign has written a letter to ICANN essentially accusing ISPs/IPPs
such as ourselves of "domain slamming" by transferring domains for our
existing customers from Verisign's Registrar (Network Solutions),
simply because their flawed survey of some domain registrants whose
domains were transferred showed that some registrants claimed to now
know anything about a transfer.
