windows xp

Anyone got xp running right now....anyone got comments on it?..i used kazaa to download xp pro and its a iso file...getting ready to install it on my comp....anyone with advice please let me know

xp has been running fine for me, for me, its more stable in terms of graphics than windows 2000 pro which is what i used b4

it all depends on what you plan on using your pc for, i would suggest it tho if you are using 98/ME/etc

its overall, so far anyway, a bit more stable than win2k, but, i have only had xp installed for a week, so...

Hi.
I've installed about 25 new pc's the last 2 weekes with XP and XP Pro. Its Faster but i hate the initial menulayout... you have to tweek it to make it look good. Some of my mashines had problems with the Display-adapter... had to use some Beta-drivers, but they woorked fine... So GO aheat.
Itherwise, its a lot like Win2000, but better to multimedia tasks (rendering, and ripping to name a few)

Forgot one other thing..... It EATS RAM... im useing ~100 mb when its on idle, and about 150 when 2 IE and one Dreamweaver window is open
