Candi don't worry to much about names about 5-6 months ago I was paying some checks into my bank and the teller asked me what I did I just said web page design and thought that would be the end of it. she whoever was not happy with that waving a check at me (it was either Maxicash or CEN I can'y remeber now) she spat out don't they run sex sites well I did not know what to say. let me add the teller is about 55-60 years old she then proudly told me how she and her husband had sign-up and started telling me how great they where and what a fine job I was doing. I must admit I got out of the bank as quick as I could but now when I go in we have a laugh although I try to go in as little as possible.

So it does not matter what what is printed on your checks especially if it is one of the bigger sponsors because chances are that someone in the bank has seen the name on there Visa statement anyway and if they have not don't you think it is time that they did get in there and advertise (: lets face face it they don't call them *ankers for nothing

Just do what I do and take the damn cowards way out and put it thru the damn atm machine...... that machine won't give you funny looks........ ok, well it hasn't given me funny looks yet anyways...... LMAO.... when it does then I will have to find another method of depositing my checks. LOL

I don't understand what the problem is. So the name on the check is "Stiffy Productions" big deal. You give those tellers too much credit. Do you know how many checks they process in a day? Alot, sure they may remember it, big deal, but I'm sure alot of them will forget about it 5 minutes after you leave.

I wouldn't be so sure about amount of checks the tellers process, in my bank I am without doubt number one as regards collecting foreign checks, I see my name each 2 nd line in checks list if I look over the counter and bank employees say hallo to me when they meet me on the street http://adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/wink.gif
Another thing is that they dont know what could word "Stiffy" mean in connection with porn.

my old bank, they would freeze the deposited checks for a freekin' 30 days, of working days...

Usally Canadian banks (or at least the royal bank) wont freeze your checks if you have a lot of money in the account to cover the check if it is bounced.

Magnatique what bank is a good bank here in Quebec to deposit checks?
I tried Caisse Pop and Banque de Montreal but they both freeze checks for 3 weeks.

Royal Bank does fine for me... they don,t freeze... you got some places you can deposit 24/7.... good service and all...

caise pop , well the one I was to, freezed like crazy.. and the service was crappy..

once, I had to do a wire to my server, was really important.. needed to be sent fast... or was it to a programmer?? anyways... it was important timewise..

so I go there, takes them 1 hour to do it... literally....

then I'm like finally...

2 days later, my guy tells me it's not there yet, and he said he called my bank and they said nothing was sent..

I go back there, all pissed, they tell me this :

we had done it, but the fax machine didn't send it... and we didn't notice until today, but it's out now ..... fuckin Biatch!
