I stayed in Kissimee, and everything was very expensive! $25.00 for a one topping pizza! I should have packed a breakfast, lunch, and dinner box. lol

Don't buy into that tourist crap either. They have staff in hotels (Howard Johnson's too) that prey on out of towners. They claim they will give you $100 if you go with them to look at some swampland! No BS! I drove 24 hours just to get to the hotel and get beat on by a swampland seller? WTF! I believe they call these "tourist information centers." They should be outlawed!

By the way, check in time for me was at 11:00 AM. I ended up sleeping in the car because they had no rooms available. Be careful not to arrive too early...

Have fun, cause it really is a nice place. I just was not prepared for all the initial BS after a very long drive from Cleveland.

Howard Johnson is, well, Howard johnson.. never been inside one down here, but if you're going to the one off International Drive, be prepared for lots of traffic and ultra high prices. You might look into the All-Star Music or All-star movie resorts on Disney property, these are like the holiday inns of Ratland.. Usually rates are like 60-80 bucks a night, and you can take the disney shuttles to all the parks and restaurants...

Make sure you bring a fat wallet in any event, and for what it's worth, Islands of Adventure at Universal Studios is a MUCH better park... lots of fun if you like roller coasters...

It's not that expensive here in Anaheim where DisneyLand is situated.

I live 5 mins walk from DisneyL.
So I can guarantee you that...the prices around here are pretty reasonable.

If you need a free room.......you can always com to my house...:-)

Or I can find you a cheap motel somewhere near DIsneyLAnd.
Motels are in a really good condition here.

This is the way I figure it, if I stay on the resort that is $80/night, We will go down there for 2 nights and 3 days, that is $160 hotel. Go to MGM, Magic Kingdom, and Typhoon Lagoon/Blizzard Beach. That is $80 for 2 people per park, so thats $160 for the 2 parks and $60 for the waterparks. Then there is food, I figure, worst case scenerio, $100/day for 2 people eating VERY GOOD! Go to planet hollywood (expensive, but cool as hell) and house of blues. I think staying on the resort would be best. Its only $30 more i think.

So,
$160 Hotel
$160 Parks
$60 Waterparks
$300 food
----------------
$680 and then some for souveneirs and gas for the 4.5 hr drive down there.

By the way, I'm from Elyria, near Cleveland, ever hear of it?

nic,

The $25.00 pizza I ordered was a one topping small pizza. This was five years ago. Smokes were $2.50 a pack then too.

When you return, please let us know some prices. Maybe I'll be able to return after I get approved for a loan!

hehe, Rong, DisneyLand is 100000000 miles away from GA. We are going to DisneyWorld in Orlando, FL. Hey Rich, I went to disneyworld.com and tried to book somewhere at the value resorts and it said I needed to stay at least 3 nights! You think I can just book it for 2 nights?

Nic, you can invite me http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif

If you're willing to spend some extra money, go to the dolphin hotel. That is the nicest hotel in the world, expensive as hell though.

And universal is better.

I went to DisneyWorld Last December. I have gone there many times, since my Grandmother lives in Orlando. But this last time, I noticed Disney is rather out dated.

Maybe because, I have been so many times. But I can't say that for my local Thrill Park(King's Island). I Go every year and it's still entertaining.

The Best Park in Orlando, in my opinion, is Universal Studio's Islands of Adventure. You must make time for that. It has Theme and Thrill. It's Great!

I would be interested in hearing what you thought of Disney World.

Nic if you go to Universal Studios also the hotel is only 75.00 a night (= 80.00 (i think) if you don't go. So it is really not that much. They are nice people just would like to know if it is nice. It looks nice from the net hehe.

Yeah, whatever amount you think you're going to spend, you can probably multiply that by 2 http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Damn I miss Orlando. http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/frown.gif But I'm going down for 4-6 weeks middle of June http://bbs.adultwebmasterinfo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Disney is for kids. They will love it. Adults will enjoy Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Pleasure Island, Old Town which is right by Kissimee, Downtown Disney is cool. International Drive is the tourist area, lot's of little shops and stuff. Only about an hour away or so, Cocoa beach has a nice pier with a bar. Bush Gardens in Tampa is real nice.

Most reasonable place (price) to stay is in Kissimmee.

Enjoy!! Don't forget to play the lottery and you can play in advance for 6 months and check online to see if you are filthy rich.
