the CJ business is still alive ?

I started my one and only CJ site (wetschoolgirls) 2 years ago, just after the first ones like Shap & NickD (IMO the innovators of this CJ stuff!). I used linkx, scorpion1 & I got a recent upgrade to scorpion2. I've been out of this CJ business for more than 15 months, and I was wondering if it's still profitable like a few years ago ? I'm thinking of starting it up all again..... Would like to get some response from the old CJ'ers, like Wetdog, Smitty, DanS, Shap, NickD and all other names i remember..... thanks !

cj sites aren't that profitable anymore. Think about, there's too much competition already, and exit sponsors are slowly dying out. Not much you can do with a cj 2 site unless you have a good sponsor or another site to send that traffic to.

I dont want to be harsh or something...

...but arent you the one asking how to make a profit just a few weeks ago?
As far as I can remember you are quite new to the biz and started to post galleries and couldnt get them into profit, right?

How can you say that CJ sites are not profitable anymore? Did you run one?

You can pretty much doing everything what you want with the traffic it produces!

Last not least: You need a GOOD SPONSOR for any kind of site......

Think of a CJ(2) site like of a mine (not a gold mine, but a traffic mine)....you produce the raw materials with it...and what you do with your raws than...its entirely up to you.

CJ2 is one of the most profitable site models that I know of...give it a try

Well Renegade.

Things have drastically change, i think the profits are still there but trading takes a lot , i mean a lot more work then it used to be or i am just a bit burned out.. hehe.

What i mean on trades is you get 20 guys signing up and then 2 of those trades work out so a lot of admin work, From what Shap said he just likes TGP-ing now as it is much easyer and less bullshit to deal with then all the pop up hell that was going on a while back with cj-one.

Going to make a new cj2 this week as well as one of those tgp-cj sites.

I just got into the free sites, I was running avs sites before. Anyways, cj sites aren't profitable for newbies, not anymore. Not in my opinion.

yeah they are, you just need to try new methods of making cash. If that means you promote your own paysite or free hosting or another free site, do what you have to. It is proffitable. If you have traffic there is ALWAYS a way to make money from that traffic.

Set up some galleries in a AVS format.. who knows.. so many different ways to apply the traffic. i love jerking cause it's soo much easyer to get those hits.
